ZBW

m3 were engaged by an advertising agency for producing an image film for ZBW. The aim was to bring out clearly what makes ZBW stand out. Apart from factual information it was most important to the customer that the film reflected the emotional bonds to ZBW.
Since both sites of ZBW are located directly at the water - in Hamburg at the “Binnenalster”, in Kiel directly at the inlet of Kiel Bay -, we inserted maritime sequences into the image film script. Harbour, ships, water - these pictures arouse a cosmopolitan feeling in the spectators. This important element was to become one of the central motifs.

Denise Mikulsky was responsible for idea and script and she directed both shooting and editing. The result is a very beautiful film full of atmosphere carrying everything on board and showing that ZBW are setting direct course to the library of the future.
